Once there was this little boy who wanted a balloon, he thought long and hard on how to best catch a balloon. Up came the idea that he should pin the balloon with a needle. He went out and found a balloon he liked and stuck his needle in it. The balloon popped and the little boy went running home to his mother and cried. His mother told him "You can't sting the balloon you have to use you arms and hold it!"

The little boy went back outside and found a balloon that he liked. Wise from his mothers advise he grabbed the balloon and held it hard and close to his body! The balloon exploded under the pressure and the boy ran home to his mother crying. His mother looked at him and said "You can't squeeze the balloon to tight ‘cause it'll explode!"

The little boy went out again and found a beautiful balloon that he fell for immediately. Following his mothers advice he just stood next to the balloon and kept it company while hoping that the balloon would grab him. The balloon was beside him for a while until a sudden gale came and took it away. The boy drifted slowly home to his mother while sobbing, and his mother told him "You can't just wait for the balloon to catch you; you have to catch it yourself!"

The boy went back out in the cold world and made up his mind! "No more shall I chase balloons, they just disappear and makes me sad. From now on I'll go by myself!"
